Hear From Our Satisfied Shoppers!
For years we drove from KS to go to Modern Bungalow. We have shopped here since the opening. We have purchased framed tiles, rugs, furniture, cute bronze animal figures, coasters, framed quotations, table runners, prints, lamps, etc. A fabulous arts and crafts era shop.
Beautiful chair. It's high quality from the frame to the leather to the pushback mechanism. It's very smooth. The leather is soft and the cushions are firm but not hard so you feel very well supported. I'm very happy with my purchase and working with Modern Bungalow was great. I had reservations about ordering a chair from Colorado when I lived in Southern California, but the owners of Modern Bungalow made the process smooth and simple from cradle to grave. Highly recommend
My art arrived in perfect condition – we love it! This was our second order from Modern Bungalow and I just wanted to express my appreciation for your wonderful communication process. I order a LOT of things online – even more so since this past March. I’ve never had such a positive experience with a company as far as timely shipping, updates on status, and follow-up after the arrival of my items. Whatever time or money you have invested in this system, I believe it distinguishes you from others in a very positive way. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Modern Bungalow, and only wish I lived close enough to visit your store.
The Frank Lloyd Write table runner we bought is beautiful! High quality, just like the placemats we already had. While not exactly the same pattern they are so similar in color and design that they coordinate very well. Very happy with our purchase.
I purchased a beautiful tile from Modern Bungalow for a gift. The wonderful selection and the fast and very personal service made the experience extra special. It was definitely a five star experience. I would give Modern Bungalow ten stars if I could
The rug they pictured on their site was exactly as promised of excellent quality and joins my small collection so I am thrilled with the results. They were very responsive and it did not take long to receive it. I’m very happy with it and with the experience of working with Modern Bungalow
FAQ's:
What is the Meaning of the Tiger Rug?
The tiger rug symbolizes the raw power, beauty, and grace of nature. These rugs celebrate the majestic tiger, one of the most revered animals known for its strength and elegance. Adorning your home with a tiger rug brings a touch of wildness and untamed spirit, allowing you to connect with the natural world in a captivating way.
What is the History of Tiger Rugs?
Tiger rugs have a rich cultural heritage that dates back centuries. These intricate handmade rugs originated in regions like Tibet and Nepal, where skilled artisans have long been inspired by the grandeur of tigers in their natural habitats. The tradition of weaving tiger motifs into rugs has been passed down through generations, celebrating the beauty and power of these majestic creatures.
How do I Make Sure my Rug is Straight?
To ensure your tiger rug lies perfectly straight, start by placing it in the desired location and smooth it out evenly. Use your hands or a rug brush to gently adjust the pile and align the pattern. If needed, you can slightly shift the rug until the edges are parallel to the walls or furniture. Taking a step back and examining it from different angles can help you achieve a perfectly straight and balanced look.
Are Synthetic Rugs any Good?
While synthetic rugs can be more affordable, they don't compare to the quality and longevity of natural fiber rugs like our handmade wool tiger rugs. Synthetic materials tend to shed, flatten, and lose their vibrancy over time. With proper care, a high-quality wool rug will last for generations, retaining its plush texture and vivid colors, making it a worthwhile investment for your home.
Why are Hand-Knotted Rugs so Expensive?
Hand-knotted rugs are expensive because of the immense skill and labor involved in their creation. Each knot is meticulously tied by hand, with a single rug requiring thousands, if not millions, of individual knots. This painstaking process, combined with the use of high-quality materials like pure wool, makes hand-knotted rugs a true work of art and a symbol of enduring craftsmanship.
What Kind of Rug is in Style?
When it comes to stylish rugs, timeless designs with a modern twist are currently in vogue. Our handmade tiger rugs perfectly capture this trend, blending the iconic Craftsman style with contemporary flair. The bold animal prints and geometric patterns not only add a touch of wildness but also complement a wide range of interior styles, from rustic to minimalist. Investing in a high-quality, handcrafted rug like these is a surefire way to elevate your space with enduring style.
